2nd cut-off list shows lot of impact on
With the second cut-off list out, the Off-campus colleges in Delhi University got a mixed response. Many colleges, which had recieved admissions application after first list, witnessed withdrawal of admissions by students. This is because, that many students got a clear picture and have moved to the colleges and courses of their choice.

Some Colleges like Deen Dayal Upadhyaya College and Janki Devi Memorial College have closed admissions for courses such as B.Com (Hons) and Economics (honours) as these are the most sought after courses this year. The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya college has also seen a large influx of students from Haryana and Uttar Pradesh, with a majority of them, seeking admission in BCom (Hons), thereby filling up 98 seats out of 123 seats in the course.

The situation has been different for colleges such as Dyal Singh College and Moti Lal Nehru College, which have witnessed a withdrawal of applications by students following the release of the second cut-off list.At Dayal Singh College there are 1,406 seats, and so far 1,100 students have been admitted. the response for BCom (Hons) and mathematics (honours) have been good, but, the declaration of the second cut-off list by DU saw a lot of cancellation in admissions.

A similar situation cropped up at Moti Lal Nehru College with students withdrawing applications from admissions in favour of other courses and colleges.
