This year also, the National Law School of India University (NLSIU), Bangalore has emerged as one of the most popular and sought after law institute in the country for those clearing the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).
Amongst the top 89 students who cleared CLAT, were interested to grab a seat in NLSIU, but only 63 of them managed to get a chance to sit in NLSIU classrooms come 1 July 2011.
However, followed by NLSIU, most of the students who had cleared CLAT wanted to take admission in the West Bengal National University of Juridical Sciences (WBNUJS), Kolkata and therafter the preference was for NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad. The last date to pay the fees and confirm the seat is 21 June 2011.
Also, the cut-off score for NLSIU was 147, NALSAR University of Law,Hyderabad the cut off was 142, WBNUJS, Kolkata had a cut-off of 137 and the National Law Institute University of Bhopal,132, National Law University, Jodhpur the cut off was 131.
