 3 new UG courses at Ambedkar University
The Ambedkar University (AU), Delhi is in a process to introduce 3 new courses from this year at the undergraduate level. The subjects would be English, Sociology and Mathematics.

The curriculum for undergraduate courses at the university is according to the semester system. The course in English will include epics, drama, non-fiction as well as non-conventional topics. Mathematics will include areas such as statistics, probability, cryptography, numerical analysis, etc. and the core papers in the Sociology programme will be having topics on sociological concepts, social institutions and sociological research.

The UG courses at AU are flexible and do not require students to begin studying their major subjects until the third semester. Till then, the course involves basic foundation curriculum in English and social sciences. During the first two semesters, all UG students study the same syllabus. And thereafter, they can then proceed to choose major in economics, history and psychology. A four year BA (Honors) with dual major is also offered by the university and a student can graduate with a BA (Honors) in two subjects that they opt for.
