The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (CET) 2011 results have been declared and students who have got their CET rankings are eagerly waiting to understand the fees structure of the engineering colleges across the state.
The Higher education minister VS Acharya assured that the issue will be resolved and wont consume much time, but yesterday( 31 May 2011) he only managed to met officials from the higher education council among other engagements. The confusion remain unresolved. He could not have any meeting with the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering College Association (KUPECA) which was supposed to have a general body meeting yesterday.
Many students who have plans to join engineering courses, are reportedly been calling the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) office to enquire about the fee structure. But, the KEA authorities cant inform them much other than asking them to keep an eye on the official website.
