IIT-JEE results are out :AP has top rankers

The most awaited engineering entrance Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT-JEE) 2011 results have been declared today(25 May 2011). IIT-JEE is the visa to get admission into Under Graduate Engineering course in IITs Intitutes (Bhubaneswar, Bombay, Delhi, Gandhinagar, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Indore, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Madras, Mandi, Patna, Rajasthan, Roorkee, Ropar, Banaras Hindu University Varanasi and Indian School of Mines Dhanbad).

IIT JEE 2011 result will be available at the official website. IIT JEE 2011 cut-off marks have also been published.

According to reports, Andhra Pradesh student Prithvi Teja got all India first rank in IIT-JEE 2011. This year Andhra Pradesh students have achieved 7 ranks among top ten. It has also been reported that about Andhra students have claimed about 40 ranks among 100. The names of the students who are from Andhra Pradesh and have secured ranks among top ten are Y Nithin - second rank,Symanth Reddy - 3rd rank,Saikiran - 4th rank,Kunal - 6th rank,Bhargav Reddy - 8th rank and Varun - 9th rank.

However, as promised by IITs that acknowledged errors is adding up to 36 marks will be awarded to all the students who attempted the questions has been a big relief. Also, the good news is that there is no chnage in the tution fees of IITs. Tuition fees remain the same with IIT-Kanpur's at Rs 34,692 per semester and IIT-Delhi's at Rs 27,035.
