CBSE results 2011 eagerly awaited

With the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) declaring results for the Class X and Class XII boards yesterday (17 May 2011), the stage is set now for the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) results.

The CBSE 12th result and 10th results are being eagerly awaited by students. It has been widely reported that the results of Class X CBSE would be declared on 16 May 2011 and Class 12 results will be declared on 23 May 2011, the initial date has gone by.

With tension mounting over the results of the Central Board of Secondary Education's higher secondary examinations,an NGO had said that its counselling helpline for students will be operational Called 'Hopeline', the service will help students deal with stress faced by the students and also provide career guidance.

Almost 8 lakh students have appeared for Class 12 examinations and almost 11 lakh have appeared for the Class X exams with almost 6 lakh opting for Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation or CCE. Under CCE, students are graded on their performance in academic performance and extra-curricular fields. Students can check their results by clicking here.
