The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Class X results for the year 2011 is scheduled to be released today ( 16th May 2011, 4 pm) will decide the fate of lakhs of students who had appeared the board exam this year.
Today is expected to be the D-day for class ten students of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). while those who have appeared for class 12, can expect their results by 23 May 2011.About 7.6 lakh students have appeared for class 12 examinations.
The class ten exams were conducted in March this year. About, 10.6 lakh students who appeared for the exams about 6 lakh had opted for Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation or CCE.According to the CCE system marks are replaced by grades, which are granted after evaluating a student's performance in a series of curricular and extra-curricular evaluations alongside his/her academic performance.The system is said to helps students who are not very good in academics but perform well in other fields such as arts, humanities, music, sports etc.
