Eligibility:
For M.Sc. Applied Microbiology, M.Sc. Biomedical Genetics, M.Sc. Biotechnology:

A candidate need to have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch of Biological Science that includes Botany / Zoology, Microbiology Biotechnology / Nutrition (or) Home Science / Medicine.

For M.Sc. Chemistry : A candidate need to have a B.Sc. Degree from a recognized university in any branch in either Chemistry or Applied Chemistry or Applied science from any recognized University with Physics or Mathematics or Biology as ancillary subject.

For M.Sc. Electronics: A candidate need to have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch with Physics / Applied Sciences / Electronics or BES.

For M.Sc. Pharmaceutical Chemistry: A candidate need to have a B.Sc. degree from a recognized university in any branch with chemistry and any biological sciences Biotechnology / Microbiology as second subjects or B. Pharm.

For M.Sc. Computer Science: A candidate need to have a Bachelor's degree from any recognized university in Computer Science / Computer Applications.

For M.Sc. in Manufacturing Engineering Technology and M.Sc. in Software Technology: A candidate need to have a B. Sc. Degree from any recognized university with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science or Applied Science. Other equivalent educational background may be considered.

Candidates can apply online. They can also obtain the application form by post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.500 in favor of “VIT University”, payable at Vellore.
