For seeking admission to English Honors course under Delhi University (DU), many colleges will participate in the Combined Aptitude Test for English (CATE).
This year four new colleges have joined the bandwagon in the CATE examination. They are
Janki Devi Memorial College, Vivekanand College, Rajdhani College and Kirori Mal College.
With this some 20 colleges will be participating in the CATE exam this year.Lady Sri Ram College, which had been a part of CATE last year, has now decided to opt out of the entrance test owing to a packed academic calendar.
The pattern of question paper for CATE was largely divided into two sections last year. One part had contained Multiple Choice Questions and the other had subjective questions.
