Indian Institute of Technology Indore invites applications for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programme starting from July 2011 in the following disciplines:

2. Mathematics

4. Computer Science and Engineering
5. Electrical Engineering
6. Mechanical Engineering
7. Economics
8. Philosophy
9. English

Eligibility
PhD in Engineering: A candidate must have Masters degree in the relevant branch of Engineering/ Technology with a minimum 60% of marks.or Masters degree in the relevant branch of Science with a valid GATE score.or B. Tech. degree from an Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) with a minimum CPI of 8.0. or Bachelors degree in engineering or technology from any other Institute with a valid GATE score.

Ph.D in Sciences disciplines (Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics): M.Phil degree in relevant branch of science with a minimum 60% marks.Masters degree in a Science subject with a minimum 60% of marks with CSIR-JRF or NET

Ph.D in Economics, English and Philosophy: A candidate must satisfy one of the following:
M.Phil degree in relevant discipline of Arts or Commerce or Masters degree in Arts/ Commerce with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent with UGC-JRF or NET.
