RPET entrance exam scheduled in May

The Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan has announced that the Rajasthan Pre Engineering Test (RPET) - 2011 will be conducted on 19 May, 2011. The entrance test is conducted for admission to the first year of undergraduate programmes in different disciplines of Engineering (B.Tech./B.E.) in various government and private institution of Rajasthan for the academic session 2011-2012.

Eligibility:
To be eligible for applying for the examination, the candidate is required to gave a minimum academic qualification of a pass with at least 50% marks with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the optional subjects that include chemistry, biotechnology, computer science and biology.
Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination (10+2) in 2011 are also eligible to apply for the examination.

Important Dates:
The application form along with all relevant material will be available for sale from 23 March, 2011 from various branches of UCO Bank during banking hours. Forms are also available at Govt. Polytechnic College, Banswara and Govt. Engineering College, Jhalawar.

Last date for the sale and submission of application forms: 9 April, 2011.
