Prepare well for IIT-JEE 2011

The Indian Institutes of Technology (popularly known as IITs) are institutions of national importance established through an Act of Parliament for fostering excellence in education. There are fifteen IITs at present and IIT- JEE entrance examination has the key for getting admissions to the Undergraduate Programmes at these institutions.
This year, the notification for IIT-JEE 2011 has been issued by the organizing chairman, IIT Madras. The examination will be of a single stage, comprising of two papers.
Each of the paper 1 and paper 2 will have three different sections on Physics, Chemistry and Maths. The papers will have objective type questions to test the comprehension, reasoning and analytical abilities of the candidates.
IIT-JEE examination is scheduled on 10th April, 2011 (Sunday).The respective timings are mentioned below:

Paper 1: 9:00 - 12:00 Hrs

Paper 2: 14:00 - 17:00 Hrs
The average of the marks scored by all such candidates will be computed for each of the three subjects. These will be the Minimum Qualifying Marks for Ranking (MQMR) in the individual subjects.
Based on the MQMR in the individual subjects as well as the aggregate marks in the examination, a Common Merit List (CML) will be prepared without any relaxed criteria, such that the number of candidates in this list is equal to the total number of seats available in all the participating institutes put together. The aggregate marks scored by the last candidate in the CML will be the CML cut-off score (CCS).
To secure a seat in one of the IITs of the country students should be well prepared.Good Luck to all the candidates.
