11th Standard Online Admission Process Begins From April 1st

Admission Process To Class XI Begins From April

Pune: The part one of the centralised and online admission process for 11th standard will be commencing from 1st April, 2014. Accordingly, those seeking admissions for the same will have to postpone their vacation plans for later.

Between April 1st and 10th, all details pertaining to the admission process like login ID and password details, admission forms, information booklet on online procedure etc. will be made available.

To bring transparency in the process of admission, the Deputy Director of Education Department has decided to carry out the admissions for class 11 via online and central admission process. Speaking to the reporters, Suman Shinde, the Deputy Director of Education said that they have classified Pune city and Pimpri Chinchwad areas into East, West and Pimpri Chinchwad zones.

Parents who want to admit their children for 11th standard can collect the information booklet available in respective schools belonging to their area.

"Parents who are not internet savvy, can take help of the school headmaster or staff for filling the online form," said Shinde. She also warned them from taking help from unauthorized people and has asked them to consult the schools alone to clear any doubts.

A total of 538 schools in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad will have the information booklet with login Id and password. The 2nd part of application submission will begin after the declaration of the SSC results, wherein the students will be able to fill in their marks and preferences of colleges.

Hadapsar, Cantonment, Kondhwa, Swargate, Wanwadi, Satara Road and Katraj are the areas which are covered under east zone. Areas like Kothrud, Karve nagar, Deccan, Shivajinagar, Aundh, Baner and Pashan along with several other small adjoining areas are covered under west zone.

Students from CBSE and ICSE board, outside the state  can collect the booklets at Ness Wadia College and MMCC.

Ahilya Devi high school, Pune Cantonment Board school, and Godawari Hindi high school will provide booklets for those students from any other boards outside the state.

The booklet costs Rs. 100/-414
