  • What is the pattern of IBPS Clerk exam?

    IBPS will have 2 levels of examination namely (i)Preliminary exam and (ii) Main exam. Candidates who qualify for the preliminary exam is eligible to appear for the main exam.

  • Is there any relaxation provided to candidates appearing for the exam?

    Yes, category wise relaxation is provided to the candidates appearing for IBPS clerk exam.

  • What is the application Fee?

    The Application fee is Rs 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates whereas Rs. 600/- for all other candidates.

  • I want to apply for the post of Clerk? What is the educational qualification required for the post?

    Candidates who have completed graduation in any discipline from a recognised university or its equivalent are eligible to apply for the post. 

    In addition to this, candidate need to have some computer skills, which involves operating and working knowledge in computer systems i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ and should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute

     Expertise in the Official Language of the State/ UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

  • What is the age limit to apply for common written exam?

     The age limit to apply for the common written test as on 01-07-2015 are as follows:

    Minimum age limit: 20 Years

    Maximum age limit: 28 Years

  • My aggregate score is 50% in graduation can in appear for the exam?

    Yes, you can appear for the exam. You just need to be a graduate and score does not matter.

  • IBPS CWE is conducted in which mode?

    The Common Written Exam for IBPS clerks will be conducted in online mode.

  • How many posts are filled by IBPS every year?

    There are no fixed number of vacancies while it depends on the participating banks in the recruitment process each year.

  • When are the IBPS results announced?

     The results for IBPS Clerk common written test are generally declared in March-April.

  • What is the date of the IBPS Clerk exam?

    The IBPS clerk CWE (common written test) is generally conducetd in the months of November or December.
