The MHT-CET 2016 will be computer based for the academic year 2016-17. The exam, conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Maharashtra will be held for admissions into B.E./B.Tech programmes in various professional educational institutions in Maharashtra.
DTE Maharashtra will conduct MHT-CET 2016 for first year B.E/B. Tech programmes in May 2016. The application forms for the same will tentatively be available by February 2016 fourth week.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates who have cleared Class 12 or its equivalent from any recognised board can apply for MHT-CET 2016.
- Candidate should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50 percent in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (45 percent for SC/ST/OBC candidates)
- The candidates of Maharashtra must have obtained a positive composite score (Combination of JEE Main 2015 and Boards Marks).
