MAT - Management Aptitude Test is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA). MAT 2024 Exam will be conducted in 4 Sessions - February, May, September and December. All India Management Association (AIMA) has established the MAT Pattern 2024. MAT, like other MBA entrance exam, is a timed exam in which students must answer questions in a restricted amount of time.
The MAT Exam is conducted in three modes - Paper Based Test (PBT), Computer Based Test (CBT) and Internet Based Test (IBT) mode. All the three modes are common MAT EXAM PATTERN. The MAT exam is given in four phases, and applicants can take it as many times as they like. The three modes all have the same MAT test structure and sectional composition. The MAT exam's difficulty level ranges from simple to moderate. MAT Pattern: Key Highlights
Among all MBA Admission exams in India, the MAT exam pattern is one of the most student-friendly. MAT Question Paper contains of 200 questions from Data Analysis & Sufficiency, Mathematical Skills & Intelligence & Critical Reasoning, Indian & Global Environment & Language Comprehension. MAT Paper Pattern, all the five sections have 40 questions each in the Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Format. The Duration will be 150 Minutes and the difficulty level of MAT Questions is easy to moderate.

MAT Exam Pattern 2024: Sectional Details
MAT is divided into give sections. Data Interpretation is combined with either Quantitative Ability or Logical Reasoning in other MBA entrance tests. Data Interpretation is a separate section in MAT. Consider the following crucial details about the five areas of the MAT Question Paper:
Language Comprehension: This portion is divided into two parts: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension. This part covers the following topics: Verb, Noun, Pronoun, Adjective, Adverb, Antonyms & Synonyms, One word Substitution, Idioms/Phrases, Vocabulary, Fill in the blanks, Sentence Correction, Para Jumble and Reading Comprehension.
Intelligence & Critical Reasoning: Questions in this section of the MAT cover Analytical and Logical Reasoning topics like Family Tree, Course of Action, Arrangement, Pie Chart, Calendars, Statement Conclusions, Strong Arguments and Weak Arguments, Puzzles, Series, Blood Relations, Coding & Decoding, Visual Reasoning, Syllogisms and Graphs.
Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency: This section is broken into two parts: Data Analysis and Data Sufficiency. Line Graph, Bar Graph, Caselet, Pie Chart, Data Comparsion, Quantitative comparison, and data sufficiency questions are asked.
Mathematical Skills: In other MBA entrance exams, the Mathematical Skills part is known as Quantitative Aptitude.
This area has problems in Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Mensuration, and Modern Maths.
Indian & Global Environment: The Indian & Global Environment or GK part covers questions from Current Affiairs and Static GK. Although this section is worth 40 points, It is not used to calculate a candidate's MAT Score or Percentile.
The MAT paper is structured in such a way that each section in worth 40 points.
For each correct answer, 1 mark is awarded.
0.25 points are deducted for each incorrect attempt.
Unanswered questions are not penalized
The score from the Indian and Global Environment is not used to compute the MAT Percentile.
All three exam modes use the same marking scheme.

A candidate must have basic knowledge about the computer for CBT. The MAT syllabus contains all the topics on which questions are asked in other MBA entrance exams like CMAT & KMAT.
