All India Management Association (AIMA) has specified a set of academic and other requirements as MAT Eligibility Criteria. Candidates who are interested and must fulfil MAT Eligibility Criteria 2024 in order to appear for the MAT Exam.
Over the years, AIMA has not changed the MAT exam eligibility criteria. This year also eligibility criteria are the same for MAT 2024 May Exam.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Candidates appearing for the exam should have completed graduation from the recognised university with the score of minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
AGE LIMIT
There is no upper age limit to appear for the MAT Exam. However, the lower age limit is not less than 20 years old which is equivalent to a graduate.
If a candidate completing their final graduation exam may also apply for MAT exam. But, if a candidate has shortlisted by the B-school on the basis of MAT exam score, such candidate will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate from the Principal/ Registrar of the College/Institute stating that the candidate has completed all the requirements for obtaining the bachelor’s degree/equivalent qualification on the date of the issue of the certificate.
