MAT Selection Procedure

MAT is usually conducted 4 times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad. The selection procedure for all the examinations will remain the same.

Once the MAT exam is over, the organising body will release the exam analysis. The exam analysis for both modes, i.e. Paper-based and online computer based MAT exams will be published by the experts.

The Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is administered by the All India Management Association (AIMA). The participating institutes will commences the MAT 2024 selection procedure after receiving the MAT Result. There is no standardised MAt Counselling procedure for MBA Admission. Colleges that accept MAt Scores will have distinct admission criteria in place to select candidates for admission to their MBA Programs.

MAT Selection Procedure 2024

Admission based on MAT is separate from AIMA, which is handled by the participating colleges. The MAT 2024 Counselling will be held at around 600 business schools. Those who pass the MAT 2024 must apply separately to the participating Institutes. Candidates should be aware, however that the MAT 2024 selection procedure differs by institute. Some participating Institutes will perform the MAT 2023 selection process online, while others will do so offline. After the MAT exam selection list is released, Candidates will be notified by email or letter by the institute to which they applied. Candidates must visit the official website of the Institute to which they applied for the most recent changes.

MAT Counselling 2024

Counselling in MAT 2024 refers to the process of selecting applicants through group talks and personal interviews. MAT Counselling 2024 takes place only after the MAT results are revealed.

Following the findings, a schedule for MAT therapy will be announced. All shortlisted candidates will be called in for the MAT selection process and document verfication. Candidates must go through two to three rounds of groups talks, personal interviews, and a few written tests during MAT counselling.

The MAT exam approach includes a counselling / selection process. The All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts MAT Counselling for students seeking admission to MBA / PGDM courses provided by various affiliated colleges / institutes of the Institution. Candidates should be aware that AIMA does not have a centralised MAT Counselling process in place for 2023. Each participating management institute will undertake its own admission process.

MAT Score Card: For admission to their management programs, most management collegs accept and consider the MAT Score. Students who pass the MAT Cut-off will be invited to the MAT CAP round.

MAT Percentile: Each College has its own percentile for accepting MAT 2024 scores / results, and students can gain admission to that college depending on that percentile. Following the MAT Admission procedure, several universities offer entrance tests for management degrees.

MAT Ranking: Before beginning the MAT counselling process, students must first check their ranking. Then students must confirm the date of Their MAT Selection and admission process in 2024, as MAT counselling will take place on various dates depending on the rankings. Make certain you select your favourite course. Candidates must select specific colleges to which they wish to be admitted.

Required Documents: Students must provide all counselling-related documentation, including their passport-size photos, orginial mark sheet, and MAT 2024 Admit card.

MAT Cut Off 2024

Candidates will be awarded final admission letters based on their composite scores.

The participating institues will announce the MAT 2024 Cut-off. Candidates who reach the minimal MAT Cut-off as specified by the participating institutes will be eligible for final admission.
