Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a National Entrance Test, conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), and a standardised test being administered since 1988 to faciliate Business School (B-School) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and Allied Programmes. The Government of India, Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD) approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.
Any B-School - National or International - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates. The largest test of its kind in the nation, MAT Will continue to be your passport over 600 B-Schools across India.
MAT is an objective test, designed to measure the candidate's general aptitudes in language comprehension, mathematical skills, data analysis and sufficiency, intelligence and critical reasoning, Indian and global environment.

Center for Management Services (CMS) is the specialised division of AIMA undertaking testing and other management services. Since 1988, these testing services have been in operation under the trademark All India Management Aptitude Testing Services (AIMATS).
AIMATS has the unique distinction of being the first to be awarded ISO/IEC 27001:2013 Certification for the range of services under its scope.
AICTE in its mission to reduce the burden of students in attending to multiple examinations has launched the national level entrance exams for facilitating institutions to select suitable students for admission in all management programs approved by AICTE.
MAT is usually conducted four times in a year. The exams will be generally scheduled in the month of February, May, September, and December. MAT is conducted in all major cities across the country and sometimes also in leading cities abroad.

The All India Managament Association has started its registration process for AIMA MAT February 2024 on 23 December, 2023. Candidates who are interested and eligible; can register themselves for the upcoming examinations for the stream of Management.
MAT February 2024 Schedule - The Paper-Based Test (PBT) will be conducted on 25 February, 2024 with the registration dealine on 20 February, 2024, and the admit cards will be available from 22 February, 2024.
MAT February 2024 Schedule - The Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be held on 10 March, 2024 and the registration by 05 March, 2024 and the admit card will be available on 08 March, 2024.
MAT February 2024 Schedule - The Internet-Based Test (IBT) scheduled for 24 February, 03 & 08 March, 2024. Tne IBT Registrations will end on 21 February, 29 February and 05 March, 2024. IBT Admit Cards will be available on 22 February, 01 & 06 March, 2024.

Step 2: Enter name, date of birth, email, mobile number and password
Step 3: Select state/UT, city, test option and a password
Step 4: Click on 'register'
Step 5: An OTP will be sent on the registered mobile number
Step 6: Verify phone number using the OTP and login to complete the MAT registration
Step 7: Make payment of MAT application fee
Step 8: Select exam mode and two test cities
Step 9: Enter academic and personal details
Step 10: Upload photo and signature in prescribed format
Step 11: Select five institutes you wish AIMA to send your MAT score to for admission

Candidate can opt for an additional mode of test (e.g.,IBT + IBT, PBT+CBT, IBT+PBT, IBT+CBT, CBT+CBT) tests by paying an extra fees of Rs. 1200/- in addition to Rs. 2100/-.
Candidates opting for additional test will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutes for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes i.e.
they can select 7 Management Institutes in total.

The test is a 2 hours 30 minutes Computer-Based and Paper-Based Test which is conducted in a single session to evaluate the candidate's ability across various segments like Quantitative Technique, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness.

Candidates must first pick when they wish to take the MAT exam in order to prepare for it. The February exam has the most applications because MBA admissions at major business schools take place from March to May. MAT September & December Scores will be accepted for admission in 2024.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION (MAT)
MAT Score is acceptable even to certain other institutes for considering admission of candidates for Post Graduate Degree / Diploma Programmes, besides the above Institutes, subject the specific cut-off marks and other admissions parameters.
Notifications
Management Aptitude Test (MAT) registration window for the Computer Based Test (CBT) 2 will conclude on 13 December, 2022.
Candidates who are not yet registered for the MAT CBT 2 can submit their application online at mat.aima.in.
Candidates should pay Rs. 1,800/- for the application fee to register for the December Session of the MAT CBT 2 Test.

Candidates who are going to appear for MAT 2022 December examination can check and download the admit card on the official website - mat.aima.ac.in.
AIMA MAT December 2022 Exam will be conducted on 11 December, 2022 (Sunday).
