The Karnataka Examinations Authority, Bangalore is conducting Common Entrance Test (Karnataka CET-2023) for admission to first-year undergraduate courses like Indian system of Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering / Technology, and Agriculture courses, for the academic year 2023.
This year, aspiring candidates should visit the Karnataka Examinations Authority website to register for the Karnataka CET 2023 entrance exam. Candidates must satisfy the eligibility criteria to apply for the entrance exam.

Candidates are advised to go through the following step to apply / register for the Karnataka CET 2023:
Step 1:
To fill the application form visit KEA website (Kea.kar.nic.in) by selecting "CET 2023 UG Online Application".
Candidates are advised to read the instructions before filling the application form.
After completion of the filling the details in the application form, candidates would receive an application number and password to their registered mobile phone number and to the email address and also the same information will be displayed on the screen.
Step 2:
Candidates should take the scanned copy of their recent passport size color photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression of candidate and signature of a parent in JPG / JPEG format separately.
Upload the same photograph and signature to the online application form.
Step 3:
Candidates should take the print out of the bank challan. Candidates have to pay the required application fee in any of the branches of State Bank of Mysore, Syndicate Bank, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Axis Bank, or Computerised Post Office.
The bank/post office will retain bank copy of the challan and hand over the student copy and KEA copy of the challan of the candidates.
Please Note: Candidates who are residing outside India should pay the fee in the form of DD drawn in favor of 'Executive Director, Karnataka Examinations Authority', payable at Bengaluru.
The DD should reach the KEA office by mentioning the online application number on the backside of the DD along with the copy of the final printout of the application form.
Step 4:
Candidates should take the printout of the application form on A4 size paper.
Candidates must take the college principal seal and signature from the college where they are studied II PUC / Class 12.
The same copy should be produced during document verification.
Application fee:
Rs 500/- for general / OBC candidates in Karnataka.
Rs 250/- for SC/ST/CAT-I candidates in Karnataka
Rs 750/- for all other candidates residing outside Karnataka.
Rs 5,000/- for the candidates residing outside India
Important Note:
Candidates should note down their application number and password which will be required for all future purposes.
Information brochure would be available in the schools/ colleges across Karnataka.

NOTE :
1. To submit the special category certificates, candidates should have claimed the special category reservation in the CET - 2023 online application form. Those who have not claimed the special category reservation in the online application will not be eligible to submit the special category certificates.
2. Candidates claiming the benefits under various Special categories should produce the relevant original Special Category certfiicates along with TWO Sets of photocopies COMPULSORILY as per the above schedule, IN PERSON ONLY DURING OFFICE HOURS. They should also produce printout of "CET 2023" online application form. Candidates should not send their orginial special category documents / certificates through Post OR any other private arrangement.
3. The candidates claiming eligibility under NCC and SPORTS should also produce the participation certfiicate appended to this information Bulletin issued by the head of the education institution for having studied and passed qualifying examination in the State of Karnataka, when they come for submission of documents. (Participation Certificate from the School / College in the NCC or SPORTS events).
4. In accordance with CET-2006 rules, special category certificates / formats submitted by the candidates will be forwarded to the concerned departments for scrutiny / verification. After scrutiny of certificates by the concerned departments, list of eligible and ineligible candidates (as given by the concerned departments) will be made available on the KEA Website for the information of the candidates.
5. Candidates who fails to submit the Special Category Certificates on the notified dates, will be considered for scrutiny of certificates under respective special category, further they will not be eligible under such categories.
