About Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra
Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra was established in 1956
Its foundation stone was laid by late Dr Rajendra Prasad, the first President of India.
It's a multi-faculty centre of higher education, has grown up as one of the premier centers for advanced study and research in the region.
The university is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). It is being recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) and also been graded with 'A' grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
