About Krishna University
Krishna University (KRU), Machilipatnam was established in 2008, by then hon’ble Chief Minister Dr.Y Rajasekhara Reddy.
It largely caters to the higher educational needs of people in Krishna district in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general.
KRU focuses more on research programs and innovative activities aimed at meeting the emerging challenges facing the country from a variety of perspectives.
Vision and Mission:
“To develop the University as a highly reputed higher education institution of perennial source of knowledge like river Krishna, for a just and sustainable knowledge economy and society.”
