Dr Ambedkar Institute of Technology for Handicapped (AITH), Kanpur was established in 1997. 

It is approved by All India Council for Technical education (AICTE), New Delhi. A.I.T.H. is an autonomous institute imparting technical education to students through undergraduate (B.Tech.) and diploma level courses.
