Academy for Technical and Management Excellence is located at Bannur Road, Mysore. The ATME Trust was founded by Mr. L. Arun Kumar and a group of likeminded people in the year 2007 to address the needs of the growing engineering and management industry.

The institute is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, affiliated to Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum and approved by the Government of Karnataka.
