A.V.C. College (A.V.C.C), Mannampandal was established in 1955.

It is affiliated to Bharathidasan University

The objective of the college is to give diversity to the courses and patterns of university education which will suit the talents and abilities of the students and bring out the best in them.  

 The aim of the college is to promote academic excellence and help the weaker sections with remedial work and arouse in the students a sense of social justice, an interest, responsibility, and concern for their fellow men by exposure to actual living conditions in slums and villages through NSS program.

They strive to inculcate in the students the basic moral, social and spiritual values necessary for building up character and developing personality through courses in ethics, general knowledge, environmental awareness to the students.
