University of Strathclyde

British Chevening/University of Strathclyde Shared Scholarships

Two scholarships are available for students to pursue a one-year Master's degree programme at the University of Strathclyde, beginning September 2000. Candidates must be Indian nationals under 35 years of age and must have a good honours' degree (preferably first class) from a recognized Indian university. The subject areas are open, but preference is given to those that are relevant to India's social, economic and scientific development. Applications should be made directly to the university.

Candidates must complete an application for postgraduate study (unless they have already done so) and a scholarship application form. Copies of both forms are available from Registry-General, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow GI 1XQ, United Kingdom. The closing date for applications is 1 April, 2000.

BG International/University of Strathclyde/Chevening Scholarships

British Gas International and the University of Strathclyde, together with the UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office offers up to eight one-year postgraduate studentships in selected courses in Engineering, Applied Science and Business Administration beginning October 2000. For obtaining full application forms please write to Registry General, University of Strathclyde, McCance Building, 16 Richmond Street, Glasgow G1 1XQ, Scotland. The closing date for completed application forms reaching Stirling University is 28 February, 2000. Information sheets and scholarship application forms are available from all British Council libraries and offices.

London Business School

British Chevening/London Business School Shared Scholarships

One scholarship for an MBA, beginning September 2000. Candidates should apply with a brief CV directly to the London Business School for admission (as early as possible in early 2000). FCO/Bunzl/Cranfield Joint Scholarship

Bunzl plc in partnership with Cranfield University and UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office offers one postgraduate scholarship for study at Cranfield University for a one-year programme of study to pursue an MSc degree in Advanced Automation and Design or an MSc in Engineering and Management of Manufacturing Systems beginning October 2000. FCO/Pearson/Stirling University Joint Scholarship Pearson plc in partnership with Stirling University and UK's Foreign and Commonwealth Office offers one postgraduate scholarship for study at Stirling University for a one-year programme of study to pursue an MSc in Media Management, beginning October 2000.
